My Top 4 Favorite Makeup Items

Writer's picture: Callie TateCallie Tate

I have been a really big makeup fan for about as long as I can remember. As a young girl, I longed for the days that I could play around with makeup however I wanted to, and my family has sort of always allowed me to express my creativity through makeup. Today I am going to share with you some of my all-time favorite makeup products that I found work perfectly for me over the years. I hope that through this list you can also find some favorites to add to your Sephora shopping cart and love them just as much as I do!

Fenty Cream Contour

I have looked for a cream contour forever. As most people know, the Charlotte Tilbury liquid contour is kind of a cult favorite, but I seriously was never able to get my hands on it. A few months ago, I heard about the Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer and it has made all of my contour dreams come true. The shade range is pretty various for a contour/bronzing product, it doesn’t look muddy on the skin, blends like a dream, and sits really well on top of foundation.

Maybelline Cheek Heat – Nude Burn

Now, this one is seriously one of my favorite makeup products I have ever owned. When cream blush became popularized, I knew I needed to try it, but I really wanted something more readily available and cheaper than the famous Glossier Cloud Paint. I heard about Maybelline Cheek Heat being an amazing dupe for the Glossier and I have seriously ever looked back. The color payoff is exactly what you want in a cream blush, a little goes a long way, so it lasts super long, its cheap, and it blends super well on top of any other face makeup.

(Pro tip: do not use on top of any type of powders, use before)

Nars Tinted Moisturizer

I was introduced to the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer after getting my makeup done at Sephora for a high school dance. Ever since then, I can say it is one of my absolute holy grail items. It is lightweight, contains SPF 30 for extra protection, does not get greasy like most tinted moisturizers, and covers while still keeping the skin very natural looking.

YSL Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain – Medium Rose Pink

Last but certainly not least is another product I discovered through getting my makeup done at Sephora, the YSL Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain, specifically in the shade medium rose pink. I have never been the biggest fan of liquid lipsticks, so when I found this stain, I was so impressed. First of all, the shade itself it beautiful and secondly, this stain is not sticky, lasts forever, and is just overall one of my favorite lip products I’ve ever used. It dries super quickly also so you’re not left with that residue that your hair sticks to (because that is actually one of my biggest pet peeves about lip products).

Hopefully this list inspires you to go grab some of these amazing products and enhance your natural beauty.

With Love,

Callie
